John T. Wilson IV 

biography

John Wilson practices in the firms' Appellate and Litigation sections.  He has represented clients in appeals to the Texas Supreme Court, Texas appellate courts, the Supreme Court of the United States, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He also maintains an active trial litigation practice, having successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of matters, including inverse condemnation, oil and gas, torts, trade secrets, contract, fraud, legal malpractice, and employment disputes in both state and federal courts.

Before joining Kelly Hart, Mr. Wilson served as briefing attorney to Justice Priscilla Owen of the Texas Supreme Court after graduating from Baylor School of Law in the Spring of 2001.  During law school, Mr. Wilson interned for a federal judge and participated in moot court and advocacy competitions.
