Kelly Hart & Hallman appreciates the importance of hiring good, young lawyers. In 2011, twenty-four of our young lawyers were named Texas Rising Stars by Texas Monthly magazine, which recognizes the top 2.5% of lawyers under age forty. That means that over forty percent of our young lawyers are in the top 2.5% of their profession. To continue this tradition, Kelly Hart actively seeks the most highly qualified law students with both excellent academic records and a commitment to teamwork and camaraderie.
At Kelly Hart, we encourage summer associates to consider different areas of practice during their time with the firm. To provide the greatest breadth of experience, Kelly Hart offers its summer associates the opportunity to split time between the Transactional and Litigation practice groups where they will play active roles in ongoing cases and transactions as well as work closely with mentoring lawyers.
During the six-week program, summer associates will receive an enjoyable and educational introduction not only to what life is really like as a first-year associate, but also to the city of Fort Worth through exposure to some of the best activities our community has to offer.
In the fall of 2014, we will be conducting interviews of second-year law students at the following locations:
- Southern Methodist University School of Law
- Baylor University School of Law
- The University of Texas School of Law
- Sunbelt Minority Job Fair in Dallas
- Texas Tech University School of Law
- Texas Wesleyan School of Law
